Childhood: Dalek Week 2014 Day One

Ohoho man am I nervous about posting this. >~< But I am also unbelievably excited for Dalek Week this year! 

Yepyepyep, I'm a new participant. UuU My artwork isn't that great, but I'm only drawing to have fun! There are so many talented artists doing this... This is actually making me really anxious! I can't wait to see everyone's wonderful entries!

Well, this piece obviously didn't come out how I expected. x'3 I am way out of digital art practice please forgive me. uvu This will be the only entry with an actual background because they take too long, not to mention I cannot draw backgrounds to save my life. (PURPLE FLOORS YEEEE.) Definitely not a great way to start off the week. But oh well! Tomorrow will be better! Anyways, instead of doing something about Deryn and Alek actually being little (and making people sad), I ended up just shrinking down the characters. So they've met but they're younger...? Something like that.

So, if you can't read my handwriting (I don't blame you XD), it says:
Alek: "Deryn, you wouldn't have happened to see my goggles, would you?"
Deryn: "Take 'em and run!"

So, my idea was that they're playing pretend or something, so Deryn (making herself the good guy as she would always try to do), steals Alek's goggles so that he won't be able to do whatever evil thing he was planning as the bad guy. Or she's just trying to prank him. x'D Guys, Deryn and Bovril would make the best prank team ever. Just wait until "Good Morning". You'll see.

Well, they didn't end up looking all that little, so if you want you can say maybe they're just acting childish? Yeah. uvu
